Here is my application timeline:

Aug 13, 2008: Started Peace Corps Application

Sep 7, 2008: Seriously Started Peace Corps Application

Nov 9, 2008: Submitted Peace Corps Application

Nov 26, 2008: Received contact from recruiter introducing herself and informing me to expect a packet containing, finger print info, Skill Addendum, etc.

Nov 28, 2008: Personally delivered completed packet to recruiter in NY office

Dec 9, 2008: Interview

Dec 11, 2008: Nominated for Secondary Level English Teaching in Central Asia leaving mid Aug 2009

Dec 19, 2008: Received Medical Kit

Jan 15, 2009: Mailed Medical Kit

Jan 22, 2009: Medical Kit Received

Jan 28, 2009: Dental Clearance

Jan 31, 2009: Paperwork received that I need Polio Shot

Feb 2, 2009: Fax Polio Shot paperwork

Feb 6, 2009: Medical Clearance

Feb 9, 2009: Contact from assistant PO informing me that Im being considered for placement

Feb 16, 2009: Contacted assistant PO to inform her that I would be leaving the country in
March for a month

Feb 19, 2009: Receive call from PO informing me that I have been invited to join the Peace Corps

Feb 21, 2009: Received official invite in mail for Kazakhstan

Feb 23, 2009: Accepted invitation

March 09: Italy then Switzerland for work

June 22, 2009: Gave notice at work

July 10, 2009: Last day @ work

July 13th, 2009: received staging materials

July 14th, 2009: Booked staging travel
